Hooks up to
It plugs into what you already run
Nothing here asks you to move your books, your bank or your files. Each connection uses your own account, and each one can be switched off again from the settings page without taking your data with it.
Connections
Five things worth wiring up
All of them are optional. The shop works without any of them — these just stop you typing the same thing into two places.
Blank pricing, live
S&S Activewear
Put your S&S account key in once and blank costs come from your account, at your pricing, with the colours and sizes each style actually comes in. No downloaded price list to go stale in a folder.
- Your own account pricing, not a published list
- Styles, colours and the sizes each one runs
- A blank price rise shows up in the next quote, not at the end of the month
- Costs drop straight onto the size grid
You need an S&S account and an API key from them.
Cards, from your customer to your bank
Stripe
Connect your own Stripe account and your customers pay their invoices by card from the portal. The money goes to your bank, not through ours — we never hold it and we do not take a cut of it.
- Deposits, part payments and paying several invoices in one go
- The balance on the invoice settles itself when the payment lands
- Your own Stripe account, your own payout schedule
- Stripe's fees are Stripe's, and they are the only cut taken
Stripe charges its usual processing fee. That is between you and Stripe.
The invoice, pushed over
QuickBooks Online
Connect your QuickBooks company and an invoice can be pushed across to it, creating the customer and the items if they are not there yet. QuickBooks hands back its own payment link, and what Intuit says is still owed is read back onto the job.
- The customer and line items created in QuickBooks if they are missing
- Intuit's own pay-this-invoice link, handed to your customer
- The outstanding balance read back from QuickBooks
- Your bookkeeper keeps working in the file they already know
This pushes invoices and reads balances. It is not a full two-way accounting sync.
Art, in your own Drive
Google Drive
Connect your shop's Google account and artwork goes into your Drive instead of ours. You keep the files, under your own folder structure, with whatever backup and retention policy you already have.
- Files land in your Drive, owned by your account
- Nothing to migrate out later if you ever leave
- Your existing sharing and backup rules still apply
- Disconnecting stops the uploads and leaves the files where they are
Needs a Google account you control. Disconnect any time from the settings page.
Invoices that come from you
Your own email domain
Add your sending domain, put the DNS records it gives you in place, and invoices and proof requests leave from your address instead of a shared one. Your customer sees your shop's name in their inbox, and the mail is far less likely to land in junk.
- Invoices and proofs sent from your own domain
- The DNS records to add are listed for you, then checked
- Replies come back to you, not to us
- Better deliverability than mail sent from a shared sender
You will need to add a few records at whoever hosts your domain's DNS.
Wire it up in an afternoon
Each connection is a key or a sign-in and a couple of minutes in settings. Start with none of them and add the ones you want as you go.
